Photo: Saturday market in North Melbourne
Sep 30, 1989 Paul, Angie, and I went to went to a North Melbourne hippie market on a cool Saturday morning. We bought bread and pizza at a nearby bakery that used an old brick oven for baking.
The next day Paul & I left for Beechworth, an old town near the Victorian Alps. We stopped in Glenrowan, the town where the infamous outlaw Ned Kelly was killed. Ned Kelly met his death wearing a protective suit of armor. At Beechworth we stayed with Phyllis, a school teacher and principal there, and Brian who worked at a local hospital.
