June 10, 1993 Plamen M, Albena, Evgeni, Krasi, Sasha and Plamen D were all there to see me off. The Group Bus was very modern and comfortable. Customs was very easy at the Yugoslav and Hungarian border. The eastern Serbia countryside was somewhat rugged and interesting. Near and north of Belgrade the land was quite flat. In Belgrade I saw a very long line (1/4 mile) for gas.
June 11-12, 1993 I arrived in Budapest at 1:00 AM. Checked into Citadella Hotel, but did not stay long. Through the Budapest Travel Agency found a private room for about $15 a night.
The next day, I saw the Museum of Fine Arts and the Craft Museum. While riding the tram, I had almost got into trouble for not having a ticket stub on me.
