March 21-23, 2019 On March 21 we were up very early at 5 AM to take the local bus to the bus station. Luckily, a local told us that the buses were on strike and we had to take a taxi. The rest of the day went well, including a nice layover in Osorno. We got to Pucon and the hostel at 9:30 PM.
The next day we took a bus to Huerquehue National Park. Jeatte, Olgas daughter, met us at the bus stop and took our packs by her car to Olga Camping. We enjoyed our stay there, hiking and the hospitality.
On March 23 we took the afternoon bus back to Pucon.
