In 2001 I walked the last 160 miles of the Camino de Santiago. Ever since then I had wanted to walk all of the Camino Frances pilgrimage route (490 miles). In 2014 I decided to walk that route and in addition, the Chemin du Puy, also known as GR65 (460 miles). On March 18 I flew to Barcelona, took an overnite bus to Leon, France and then a train/bus to my starting point, Le Puy en Velay.
