March 25, 2014 It rained a little in the morning. Stopped at interesting old chapel, the Chapelle de Perse near Espalion. I stayed at the old monastery in Estaing. Though Estaing was a very scenic town, the monastery was a cold and unpleasant place to stay. Dinner was thin soup and salad.
One of the other pilgrims staying there was a German woman, Christine. On introduction, she said "Ralph. Your the one that broke Annies coffee pot." Christine had stayed at Annie's gite in Aumont Aubrac the day after I was there and saw my note to Annie.
