April 26, 2015 Heinrich and Birgit took me to the Munster train station for the train to Brilon Wald. I changed trains twice before reaching my destination. I had a pleasant afternoon walk and found a nice hut to camp at for the first night on the Rothaarsteig. It rained at night.

April 27, 2015 It was a cold morning. When I got to Winterberg I had breakfast at a bakery/cafe. I tried to change money at a bank there, but it would not accept my non-chip debit card. I was successful at the 2nd bank I went to.
Much of the trail is well marked by the red and white striped markers. Parts of the trail is also one of the Camino de Santiago routes (see below). Late in the day reached the Zinseseck hut.
