For my time in Basel, I had to buy some Swiss francs. At a bank with an ATM, I got 2 100 franc bills. Inside the bank, they had an ATM like machine that changed the 2 100 franc bills into the smaller denominations and coins that I wanted.
Bernhard took me on a short tour of Basel. Part of it was seeing a squatters community on the edge of Basel, next to the Rhine. We had a BBQ at the home of Thomas Kessler, a Basel city administrator who worked with communities. A woman there dealt local religion issues. She told me the scientologists were a special problem. Bernhard arranged for me to stay with Thomas as he had extra room.

May 19, 2015 Walked around Basel. Very beautiful city, pricey too.
