Jun 14, 1979 Took the train-ferry from Amsterdam to Harwich. I was worried that my ticket may not be good, because it was for a student fare. But I was so low on funds I could not afford a higher fare. I traveled with a Shell engineer who quit his job to become a slum lord.
Got to Harwich at 6 PM and then walked 3 miles to camp outside a pub at Ramsey. It rained all night.
