November 6, 2023 Just before we left, a young Nepalese man asked me if anyone had ever told me I looked like Walter White, the character from the "Breaking Bad" series. I told him yes, that someone (Irish Kate on the Camino Frances) had told me that 4 years earlier. I then took off my head covering to reveal my bald head, which probably left no doubt of my Walter White resemblence. He and his friends all laughed and wanted my picture.
This was the day I dreaded, many hours walking downhill on all those steps. My arthritic right knee is especially sensitive. We all looked forward to a mid-morning coffee stop in Himalaya. Later we had lunch in Bamboo.
We got to Lower Sinuwa about 3:30 PM. We an upstairs room with a nice view. For dinner had potatoes with vegetables and cheese.
