Oct 18-26, 1993 At Kopan Monastery I shared a room with Morey from LA. Nita had Heidgren, a woman from Germany. Each day was mostly the same. See the meal and "discipline" schedules to get an idea of how full the day was.
All the meals were vegetarian. Our teachers were a 68 year old Lama from Tibet, Karen a nun from Sweden, and Rivena a nun from Australia. There were about 40 westerners. After 6 days people began to get stir crazy and mentally fatigued. A few left from either sickness or from a severe deficiency of beer and apple pie.
