April 29, 2007 I took a bus to Pisac, market day. I was one of the first tourists to arrive. I started walking up to the Pisac ruins and soon met a young couple, Dan & Veronika from the Czech Republic. They spoke very good English, having lived two years in New Zealand. We toured the grounds together.
After the tour we had lunch at the market in the main square, sampled the homemade beer, and shopped. I also had some coca cookies that were really good. We returned by bus to Cuzco in the late afternoon.
