July 18, 1992 Rick and I took bus to start of a hike near Chimborazo. However I we hiked little and saw even less as there was much rain and fog. July 22, 1992 After having spent a day touring Cuenca, we went to Las Cajas and hiked south into the park on a reasonable nice day. However, late in the day it got foggy and started to rain. We spent the next two days getting out of the fog covered park.
The last day we followed a compass trying to go north and northwest in a dense fog, hoping to get to the road. Exhausted and frustrated we finally succeeded.
