In the morning I walked to Mt Hobwee and followed the Border Track to Camp Nagarigoon. After dropping my pack there, I hiked the scenic and diverse Dave's Circuit Track. I slept in the hut and during the night I was bitten in the armpit by a vicious tick. My arm was sore for a few days afterwards.
The last day I hiked the Ship's Stern trail. The up and down trail was also very interesting. Upon reaching the main campsite, I took public transportation to Murwallambah by way of Surfers Paradise. I stayed at youth hostel there.
