Oct 13, 19891 took a bus to Tenterfield. Along the way I saw evidence of many recent bush fires. The next day I rented a mountain bike from the hostel manager and rode the 35 kilometers to Bald Rock, the second largest rock in Australia. The park had been closed for two weeks, but luckily was reopened that day. I took the late night bus to Sydney.
