Bolivia & Peru 1997 - Lake Titicaca, Bolivia

Then we took a one hour ride to the Island of the Moon. We have 45 minutes to see the limited Inca ruins enclosed by a wire fence. A local woman searched through the site, picking up dried cow dung.

The next stop was the south end of the Island of the Sun. The water system developed by the Incas, and still in use, was very impressive. Our boat returned to Copacabana by 5:30 PM. Dinner was trout and fried potatoes.
