Bolivia & Peru 1997 - Inca Trail

Photo: Huinay Huanay

It was a long hike downhill through the high forest, until we finally reached the building complex near Huinay Huanay (to plant the earth, young). We put up our tent in the largest campground. The French, Israelis, and other mainland Europeans were camped next to the concession building. The English and Canadians camped on either side of us. We gave Miranda and her friends some of our extra food. Two of their companions had most of the food, and they had not seen them since the first day of the hike.
