We took the early afternoon bus to Aguas Caliente and had lunch. Because Rick was worse, we decided to stay the night at Aguas Caliente to let him rest, and take tomorrows 7:00 AM train to Ollantaytambo.
Our hotel, the Hostal Ima Sumac, was near the hot springs about a third of a mile uphill from the railroad station. While drying the tent, Bernie and I observed a man making bricks by hand. Later Josh and I went to the river, but it was very filthy. Trash and sewage were dumped regularly into the river. The Canadians also stayed in our hotel.
That night I had lasagna at Chez "Maggy. Typical of Peruvian pizzerias, the pizzi's are baked in a dome shaped, wood fired oven.
