March 8-11, 2019 On Sunday, March 10, we took the bus to Castro and checked into the Palafito Hostel, recommended by Jeroen. After seeing the church and market, we had a large lunch of curanto. Curanto was mostly meats and seafood, very filling.
The next day we were treated to a great hostel breakfast which included fresh brewed coffee. We then visited the Castro museum before taking the bus back to Ancud and finally the local bus from Ancud to Chepu.
