Photo: Abbey-Church of St Foy, Conque
March 26, 2014 I left at 6:30 am to walk the 37 km to Conques. It was a good day for walking. Along the way, I found a pepper spray canister on the trail next to a tree that had fallen. When I reached the monastery, I asked a woman if she was missing the spray. It belonged to her companion who had it because earlier she had seen a naked man in the woods on the chemin.
After a shared dinner at the Abbey-Church of St Foy, and an evening prayer service, the priest took us for a long tour of the upper level of the church. A real highlight.
