April 6, 2014 I walked some distance on the road to avoid the muddy trail. Bernard had the same idea. We walked mostly together to Condom. At the gite, 4 English were staying in a room. Eric, Bernard and I were in another room. That evening, Bernard and I went out for pizza and beer.
In many gites there is a diary for people to write comments if they want. Most people talk about how great the stay is, but one Catalone (from northern Spain, Barcelona) writes of revolution and separation from Spain. Still wanting to fight the 1930's Spanish Franco war I suppose. In Condom, the gite manager, Anna, was vigilant in being sure everyone wrote something and would not let me leave until I did so.

April 7, 2014 Bernard and I walked to Eauze. The tourist office managed the gite. We had an apartment like place on ground floor and Eric was above us. At night I could hear Eric snoring. Patrick and Olivier stayed at another gite.
