April 8, 2014 Bernard and I walked to a country gite, Maison Labarbe. It was converted from an old farm building. It was a nice place to stay. The owner couple and their young daughter lived in the farmhouse next door.

April 9, 2014 We got to Air Sur l'Adour and stayed at a place that encourages participation in meal preparation. Lots of people, Patrick, Olivier, Eric, old Aussies, Austrian Nicole, Didier from Switzerland. The owners would only allow pilgrims carrying their own pack.
Multilingual Bernard helped me with an SFR cell service problem. With french texts they threatened to end service unless I could prove who I was, something I had done twice already. Other than this problem and all the promotional texts, I had good service with SFR.

April 10, 2014 Today was a lot of shortcuts walking in the countryside. In the morning we met Lynn from France and her german shepard dog. We saw Didier at a country chapel. As we got to Arzacq, Didier, Patrick and Olivier all arrived at the same time as us.
Lynn's dog was very well behaved. At the gites, the dog would stay inside but not make any sound at night. I never saw the dog being hostile to any other person or animal.
The landscape that we walk is much flatter, many more vineyards too. Field workers are beginning to tend to the vines. There has been some rain, making parts of the camino trails muddy to walk on.
