April 19, 2014 Walked to Los Arcos. At Irache saw the wine fountain. Stayed at Casa del la Abuela and shared room with two older women and young Spanish men. That evening visited with Eric and Alan in the square. Skyped with Mary/Bernie.

April 20, 2014 In the morning it took time to find my hat that was on the bunk above me. Walked to Logrono and stayed at municipal albergue, crowded and noisy. Large city and many people enjoying Easter holiday.
Because it is a long holiday, from Easter Thursday to Easter Monday, there are many Spanish walking the camino and staying in the albergues. They generally do not add to the camino experience for me.

April 21, 2014 I saw many bikers on the trail in the morning. Had lunch at a roadside park near Ventosa. After lunch I walked with Hanna from Ireland the last few kilometers to Najera. She had managed a bar in Leon France, but was taking time off before she went back to work. I stayed at Puerta de Najera albergue, a very nice place.
