April 24, 2015 Younger Heinrich took me for a tour of Munster in the morning. We saw the cathedral, other churches and notable buildings. One church was known for the cages hanging from the tower that hundreds of years ago contained dead bodies as an example to religous heretics.
That evening we had a nice get together at the house of older Heinrich and Agnes. We ate at a nearby restaurant where white asparagus was featured.

April 25, 2015 In the morning we had brunch at Joseph's. I tried raw pork for the first time, similar to steak tartare.
In the afternoon we went to a farm museum near Munster. Very interesting place. On the way back we visited old Heinrichs sister, Antonia. She told me a few things about my grandmother: (1) Before grandma was married she and brother Joseph Lutum had a bakery in Altenberge. She was well liked and bakery was popular. (2) After grandma married they lived in house near Hagen, south of Munster. (3) Later her brother Joseph had a bakery in Epe next to Gronau. Another brother Alphons had a bakery in Hamm. (4) After WWII when things difficult in Germany, she remembered grandma sent a food package including coffee valuable and rice. Antonia had never seen rice before. (5) In 1950 her brother Bernard came to visit but became sick and stayed 6 months.
She asked me if I knew a woman Leusing who moved to South Dakota and married one farmer after another. I said I did and told her about Helenes family.
That night we went to a carnival in Munster.
