May 6, 2015 In Forbach had some coffee. Then walked up a steep slope. At the top was a great 2 story hut. I continued on to Unterstmatt. The b&b there had no rooms available, so I continued on to a guesthouse at Ochsenstall. Two older Germans that were also walking to Titisee stayed there too. Had a good dinner and a seasonal ale.

May 7, 2015 It was a cold windy morning, especially on the ridge where the Hornisgrindeturm is. Later had coffee at the Dormstadler hut after a long downhill then uphill walk. The afternoon was warmer and I got to the Zuflucht Sport Hotel. I, Sam, and a German man were the only ones staying there. Very nice hotel.
