May 13, 2015 A pleasant morning walk, gradually gaining elevation. At Hebelhoff I had coffee. Almost nothing was open, much construction. I walked another 3 km and camped in the forest. Though it rained much at night, I stayed dry.

May 14, 2015 It was a chilly, wet, foggy morning. I had a schnitzel lunch at Weibenbachsultei. Eventually I got to Schwellen Hut. Was a steady rain all night.

May 15, 2015 In the morning there was occasional rain. At Waldhaus, I was able to have breakfast. Visited with a couple staying there. The owners liked cars, especially older American cars. They had a car built into the wall of the house, outside of the dining area.
On the way to Hazel, I was unsure if I was on the right path, but eventually walked into the town. I stayed at the hotel there. It rained much of the afternoon.
