Cross along road
October 27, 2019 The daylight saving time changed today. I walked mostly on trails, so better than asphalt roads that I have to walk at times. 70 degree sunny day.
At Val's visited old church, rested and had coffee. The church dates back over 1000 years, but part of it was recently closed due to structural damage. I was told it would cost 700,000 euros to repair.
I then walked to the tiny village of Bayles where I stay with retired couple, Catherine and Jean, who put up pilgrims. Very nice people and Catherine speaks English. Leg does not feel any worse, so I will take it day by day.
