May 13, 1979 In the morning I went to the market and Sunday mass. We saw an architecture exhibit and other points of interest in Zagreb. That evening we went to Darkos cherry orchard. In the orchard Darko had a solid A-frame building. He had built it about 10 years earlier when he was a student. Each year when Darko picks the cherries, he takes his place in the market amongst the farmers and sells his cherries.
May 14, 1979 Leaving Zagreb, I took the bus to Postonja in the Slovenian part of Yugoslavia. In the afternoon I went to see the caves. A small rail train took us a few miles into the cave. We then walked about a mile and then took the train back out. It was a very interesting and huge cave.
Late in the day I hiked about 3 miles outside the city to camp in the woods.
