Jun 3, 1979 I left Triberg at 10 AM on a bright, sunny day. I walked up a long hill initially. As I walked through the forest and up and down hills, I encountered many people hiking, both young and old. There was a busy carnival in the country.
Later I teamed up with 2 German hikers; Walter, a chemist and Anna Lisa, a nurse. We walked to a country guest house and pub and drank beer with the other Germans who sang songs of hiking and drinking. We stayed at the guest house overnight.
