Jun 4, 1979 We left soon after breakfast, and went our separate ways. Along the way to Schiltach I encountered little old ladies hiking in full gear and backpacks. Today was a holy day and everyone was out exercising. At Schiltach rain forced me to use my tent as an umbrella, which I used the rest of the way to Alpirsbach. There I stayed at the hostel. I even won a few marks from a faulty coke machine.
