Jun 9, 1979 Took the train to Bonn, the West German capital. I paid $7 for a new camera battery. In the city park was an international flower show. I then took another train to Munster and a bus to the town of Billerbeck. A helpful man called my relatives, who lived 6 miles away, for me. At the house, 4 neighborhood kids translated for me. We drank wine, beer and talked to midnight. The family was Heinrich, his wife Hedwig, their 3 children Heinrich, Paul and Fritz, and my great aunt Mary.
