Jun 18, 1979 I fought mosquitos all night, not sleeping much. From where I camped I could hear the London Underground. I took the 5:17 Underground train from Laughton to London. I checked into the hostel and had only a few dollars of cash left. I then went to Bank of America and was able to replenish my cash supply.
London was much nicer now than during the February strike. I saw the Tower of London, but missed seeing the crown jewels.
Jun 19, 1979 I caught the train to Victoria Station and checked into the Pan Am terminal. Then a bus to Heathrow and flew to Detroit via Washington DC.
