November 19, 1983 I had intentions of going to Palenque, but got too involved explaining Grenada to some fellow travelers over breakfast. They told me that near San Cristobal is a large refugee camp, where the Guatemalans are also mistreated. Missed the bus. I took advantage of the day to wash clothes and see the city.
