November 7, 2008 Felt weak in the morning and did not think my stomach could handle any food. Walked for a while with a British woman who gave me some antibiotics. I got as far as Chheplung and mostly slept in the afternoon and that night.

November 8, 2008 I felt much better in the morning. It was Saturday, the day Buddhists burn incense and observe prayer offerings.
I made good time to Bupsa and as I descended to Khari Khola I was accompanied by a young Nepali woman who spoke good english. She led me to her aunts lodge in Khari Khola, where I stayed for the night. The woman, an employee at the local water hydroelectric facility, gave me a tour of the monastery and local school. The village also had a new medical clinic which served the local communities.
