November 22, 2008 The walk to Thorung Phedi took me much longer than I anticipated. From there it was another 50 minutes to walk up to High Camp.
The sun was warm and it felt great to stay in the dining room with many windows. As soon as the sun went down, it was much colder, especially in my room. At night I did not sleep and had to venture outside to urinate every two hours. The doctors had told me that frequent urination at high altitude is a good thing.
