November 26, 2008 It was a short easy walk to Tatopani, known for hot springs. From there it was a 5 hour trek to Ghorepani, an altitude gain of about a mile. Checked into a hotel that had a workable internet connection and a warm dining room.

November 27, 2008 Got up at 5AM to walk up Poon Hill. It was a clear sky and cold for the dozens of tourists I joined for the one and 1/2 hour walk up to the top. After returning and having breakfast I left for Chhomrong.
The first hill, Ban Thanti, had better views than the famous Poon Hill. I got to Chhomrong about 3PM. Other tourists were East Europeans.
