October 30, 2023 We arrived at the airport around 6 PM. Getting our visa and going through customs was very easy. We were met by the travel staff member who took us to our hotel, the Dom Himalaya near the Thamel tourist area. We shared a room for three on the 4th floor in a section of the hotel with no elevator. Taking the stairs was good training for our upcoming trek.
We had a light dinner and settled into our room.
