November 2, 2023 I didn't sleep well because of a nearby barking dog. Had muesli with hot milk for breakfast. We got going at 8 AM and headed down the stone steps to the river crossing below. After crossing the bridge, it was steady uphill until lunch at Sinuwa.
After lunch we continued onto Bamboo, the last portion a long descent down many more stone steps. Our lodge had a shared bathroom with a hot shower. We washed some clothes. Unfortunately soon after hanging the clothes on the line, the sun disappeared behing the mountain.
Had a spring roll for dinner and drank some of Mary's rum.
