Peru 1988 - Lima

Next we found the South American Explorers Club. Kathy of England, the then club director, was very friendly after we gave her a gift of peanut butter and Cadbury chocolate. We left some things there, then went to the Natural Restaurant to have lunch and exchange some money. Lunch was fried potatoes, onions, and tofu.

In the afternoon we saw the catacombs of San Francisco cathedral. The guide allowed Bernie to pick through some of the bones. I also thought it unusual that the church gift shop sold erotic Incan art. We had dinner at L'eau Vive, a very good restaurant run by nuns.
