Thursday, June 2, 1988 Today is Corpus Christi day, a big festival day for Cuzco. At the 'postcard' cafe near our hotel, I had cheese and egg omelet plus pineapple juice for breakfast. The religious ceremonies were very slow and the crowds filled the Plaza de Armas. We did not stay for the whole thing. That night we had a dinner at a Japanese restaurant and later, at a rundown theatre, we saw the US movie, The Hitcher, for 42 Intis.
