Photo: Stone construction detail at Huinay Huanay
The trail to Huinay Huayna was very spectacular. The narrow stone road hugged the mountain cliffs and were surrounded by dense high jungle. The overgrown ruins at Huinay Huayna were well worth seeing. We camped next to a hotel that had been built near the latter ruins. I was pleased to find a barrel that I could dump the Inca Trail garbage in.
