Saturday, June 25, 1988. Our last day. After a hostel breakfast, we went to the Saturday street markets. We treated an 6-year-old girl, Roxanna, to lunch. Then on to the Gold Museum. Actually, the adjoining Arms Museum was much more interesting. Rick was very sick. At the museum we ran into a California woman tourist we kept seeing in cafes and restaurants in Cuzco and Huaraz. After packing, Bernie and I went out for a great Spanish paella dinner.
Sunday, June 26, 1988 Left hostel early and went to Lima airport for flight home. At Miami luggage pickup, we met the American couple we had seen on the Santa Cruz trail.
