May 11, 2001 I visited the British Museum. The most interesting section was the Roman Britian exhibit. Exhibits were well presented and usually had detailed descriptions.
That evening I met Wayne and Ronel, a couple from South Africa, at the Aldgate East metro station. In 1994 I spent a week with them touring eastern Turkey. We went to a Bangladeshi restaurant and an old pub.

May 12, 2001 Frances & I went to the Camden Saturday market. The clothes and jewelry were very popular for the younger crowd. The market also featured imported goods, furniture, and antiques.
The next day I walked to Hyde Park to see Speakers Corner. Most of the speakers addressed religous topics.
