Photo: Boardwalk in San Sebastion
June 6, 2001 Took a bus to San Sebastion. In the morning there was rain, but it cleared up in the afternoon. The city was very popular with young American and European tourists. It was a relaxing place and included a topless beach adjacent to the city.

June 7, 2001 I moved onto Pamplona, about a month before the San Fermines "running of the bulls" madness. At this time there were few tourists. Pamplona had a few old historical sights. In one of the downtown squares, local folk music groups would perform at night. The entertaining performances attracted large crowds.
June 9, 2001 I took bus to Zaragoza, a large busy city. Since I was headed for backpacking in the Pyrenees, I prepared my pack for what I needed. I rounded up a box of things that I planned to mail to myself to pick up later in Zaragoza.
