June 24, 2001 From refugio, I walked about 6 miles to Bielsa, the nearest town. I found a room there. The tourist office told me how I could get to Zaragoza the next day, Monday. Bielsa was very close to the French border and seemed to be a very popular town for French shoppers. Popular goods were port wines, liquors, cheeses, and hams.
