After class I might visit a museum or go to a different part of the city. At Oohostal people would watch Scrubs or the Simpsons and sometimes a video movie. Some of the other people staying there had been there for a few weeks.
Laura, an 18 year old Columbian woman, was starting university studies in Buenos Aires. Carrie was a recent college graduate, a daughter of a Washington Post editor, looking for a job in Buenos Aires and was moving into an apartment with Laura. Rafael was a friendly 40ish Spanish man with tattoos all over his body. A 300 lb young Israeli man who liked to cook big group meals. A British man who had been in Buenos Aires for 2 years and making a living teaching English to Argentine business people.
