The third day, we started back and got almost all the distance to Cachora. Peter & I decided to not pay a tip to Rafael, but we paid the equivalent of one days pay to both Washington, the cook, and the arrieo. Washington, was upset that the tip was not more, but the arrieo seemed very happy.
The next morning we hiked the last hour to Cachora. After much confusion, involving the travel agency, about how we were to get back to Cusco, we took an afternoon bus that got us into Cusco at 6 PM.
