June 26, 1992 We took the 8 AM bus to Otavalo. Stayed at gringo place, Hotel Rocio. Watched a religous festival with lots of dancing. Saw an ongoing rock fight. We discovered the Shenandoah pie cafe on the market square. Great pies and ice cream. The Saturday market was outstanding. When we got back to Quito on Sunday, we watched 1 and 1/2 soccer games.
